The automotive industry is anticipating drastic changes due to innovative factors such as autonomous driving, e-mobility, and shared economy. In addition, artificial intelligence technology, which is based on the success of the deep learning, is becoming a driving force expediting such changes. It is thus of utmost importance to accurately forecast the future automotive technology and strategically prepare for such overwhelming changes. In this talk, I will insightfully review automotive AI technology that will serve as the brain of future automobiles. Then I will explore ways to develop a computing platform for automotive AI that will lead Korea as an IT powerhouse in the future automotive industry.
